I'm new to Netflix and it says to connect device to internet. How do I do that? and I suppost to connect the cable from the internet box to the tv? or the dish network cable box? How do I know if my TV is compatiable? would I need wi-fi?

Rainbow flip-flops for 12 year old?

I'm 12, live in the south, and all my friends have Rainbows. Pretty much everyone over 8 years old down here has a pair! They are nice and last a verrrryyyy long time. HD gaming is not so HD?

I've bought a microsoft's hdmi cable for my xbox360 so i could play games in HD. I have a Panasonic plasma, and it's HD ready and it's supposed to give '' awesome gaming experience'' etc. But the problem is, games don't seem so HD to me. Actually, they seem the same as they used to be before, before the hdmi cable. I watch gameplays and walkthroughs of other players on youtube, and graphics are stunning. in comparisson, mine are shitty. Can someone help? Xbox 360 controller doesnt charge, what should should i do?

ive had my play and charge kit for about a year now and its been acting weird for a couple months. a lot of the time, i had to move the cable at an angle while it is plugged into the controller so it would charge, i would also plug it in and the light on the end that plugs into the controller would go red for a second, then it would turn green, indicating it is fully charged. then when i unplugged it, it would die. but today i turned on the controller, and it came on and died about a minute later. i plugged in the charger and it wouldnt charge it and the light wouldnt turn on. i tried doing a lot of what people said online, like rubbing the connectors and blowing into the usb port. i dont wanna sound mean, but i want an answer to my problem, not people talking and just telling me their story without any answer on how to solve the dilemma.

Why will my iPod 160GB Classic not charge?

I've had it since about Christmas this year and since then its been absolutely fine till yesterday, I put it on my Goodman's dock and it wouldn't connect and also for some reason the dock lost power and the display of the dock went off when the iPod was on it. I then tried connecting it to both mine and my mom's laptops with two different apple USB cables and it woulden't respond, I just got a message on the desktop about the device not being recognized, I also tried it through my Xbox. I was recently in Belgium. Why won't these painful shin splints go away?

I recently attempted to return to running after a 4 year sabbatical following the birth of my first son. I started slow and followed all my old training when getting back in the swing of it. I knew I had gained about 30 pounds and after having past issues with shin splints because of not giving myself enough time to adjust (I push myself way too hard and have gotten all sorts of injuries from it) I made sure I took it easy. But about only five little piddly walk/jogs in, I got that bad pain in my shins. I went down to only walking, eventually stopping altogether. I took about a month off and purchased some special shoes (I like to go barefoot) to wear around the house. I then took up biking as alternative exercise & lost most of the weight but for the last 3 months I've tried to go back to running and even a few fast walks with the dog has my shins aching, and even if they don't hurt when I walk they are so tender and sore; my three year old ran into me the other day and I nearly collapsed in agony. Obviously I need to see a doctor and have made an appt, but I would like to hear from other athletes about this problem. I love biking now but I can go 12 miles and it still isn't the workout that running is and I would like to combine the two. I've never heard of shin splints staying around for so long...I researched that biking hasn't been known to aggravate shin splints and I do several stretching & strength building exercises....these suckers won't budge.

My iphone has not bee able to sync with itunes i am using itunes version 10.3.1. i have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. I have even installed older versions of itunes but it doesn't work it shows sync in Progress sometimes but it wont sync itunes just freezes after a point. I have used different cables i have uninstalled and reinstalled all apple components including apple mobile device. i have the Toshiba satellite L350 and It does not have an S-video port, it only has a VGA port but without the two holes on either sides, so i really need to know how to connect it to my TV, what cables will I need? Recently I moved the table, unplugged everything, and now the picture wont switch to the external monitor. Pain in chest under left breast, Randomly...?

So I've been having chest pain for a long time now. I think it started when I was about eleven, with stomach pain and when i went to see a doctor they had told me that it was because of constipation because my bowels are messed up. i don't 'go' as much as i should, maybe a couple times a week...so the doctor put me on miralax and it kinda got better but then i started to get pain in my left side and/ or chest randomly when i was about fourteen and i wouldn't be able to really move without the pain worsening and i would have to be crouched or leaned over for it to kinda go away on it's own. it happened like when i would walk or eat fast food, and when it happened it would be hard to breathe, i would gasp for air. so when i went to the doctor they told me it was because of acid reflux issues and they put me on medication that i would take whenever this ooccurred but it didn't really help...but kinda stopped happening after i went on a special diet, you know like stopped eating fast food, fried greasy spicy, things that would cause acid reflux. but after a while i started to eat whatever and i was fine. like maybe another couple of years later it started with some mild pain under my left breast every once and a while...sometimes just when sitting and the same before, i wouldn't be able to move or take any deep breaths without the pain worsening and it go away unless it stayed kinda leaning with my hands over my chest, very still and it would gradually go away. But more recently it's been happening EVERYDAY, and it's like this gripping tight pain and it feels like my insides are just breaking. the other night when i was asleep i really thought i was dreaming because it hurt so bad. the pain just came out of nowhere and i had to hold on to myself in like a fetal position for it go away but anytime i moved it would come shooting back and i was in AGONY, and somehow after maybe 45 minutes or so , maybe because i was in and out of a dazed sleep when this was going on, it stopped when just laid on my right side and didn't move. on other days it happens when im lying down, or if im excising especially. basically it can happen when i do anything. don't drink or smoke or am on any medication. anything helps, would see a doctor but really tight on money right now. so looking for info online. im 18 yr. old female i still have constipation if that could be it....

So I did, but when I try to turn it on with both the main plug and the hdmi cable in the xbox the tv screen just stays black and nothing happens... Why won't my kidney stone pass?

Why is my internet so terrible?

My family has used Time Warner Cable as an ISP for years now and it has always been bad. OK, her's how it is. I installed the video card and powered up the computer, I hear the windows login screen like normal, but there is no picture on the monitor at all. I have an ati radeon 4200 hd integrated into the mother board, if that helps. Am i supposed to disable the onboard graphics before installing the gtx 460? Will I ever hit puberty?

I turned 17 a few days ago, and I've been waiting in agony for 3 years for puberty. My voice hasn't changed since I was 12, so I always grunt to try and pretend it has broken, which fails, I have no pubic hair anywhere, my penis is 1 1/2 or 2 inches when flaccid, and I still have tiny balls which won't sag, and my face is completely smooth. Also there's a compulsory shower beforehand to get rid of any dirt so it doesn't get in the pool, and feel like I'll collapse in nervousness that someone will see it in the shower room and while I'm changing because it shrinks to 1 inch in cold water. I've gotten so annoyed that I've started pulling really hard on my genitals to try and make them bigger, but it aches and it hasnt done anything. Video output problem on PS3?

my ps3 was connected to a HDTV using a HDMI cable. Now I no longer have the HDTV and I don't have a HDMI port on my old TV. I only have yellow/white/red ports. I connect the PS3 to them using the AV cable and I can hear the PS3 booting, I can hear when I'm moving through menus but the screen is black. Emergency! Did I break my espresso machine?

I need help with this question ASAP!! I'm living with a host family in Italy. They were gone for the weekend, and I tried to make espresso on their espresso machine. I put the grounds in the wand and attached the wand to the machine. I let the machine get ready, and then I flipped the switch. All of a sudden the wand flew out of the machine, spraying hot, wet grounds all over the kitchen. I cleaned up the mess, but I don't have the courage to try the machine again. How to connect Samsung Impression to computer without touch screen?

The touch screen on my Samsung Impression no longer functions. I bought a new phone, but there are still messages and contacts that were not stored on the SIM card that are still on the phone. I want to extract these using a USB cable and the PC software, but upon connecting the USB cable it asks me to select the connection mode on the phone. However, I cannot select any of the options since the touch screen doesn't work. Without selecting an option, the computer does not register the connection. Toddy coffee brew, loads of caffeine?

So all the reading out there about the toddy brewing systems say there is far less caffeine and acid in the coffee. So I got one. Brewed it and had two cups this morning with soymilk and holy shat did I get a gnarly buzz. I know its concentrated so I did half toddy half soy. It was so tasty I decided to have another cause thought it was less caffeine. Harsher buzz than sbux 2 shots of espresso. I can handle caffeine. But the toddy made me buzz like a fridge. In a bad way. So do I need to use less concentrate? I usually drink 4 cups in the morning from drip. I love coffee, and toddy makes the best cup but I want to drink it with out the horrible buzz. I have successfully created some microfoam by tilting it at an angle, but the milk and the foam wouldn't mix together. As soon as i pour the milk to the espresso, it just mixes as if you are adding milk to coffee

it depends on the cable you have. Mine is Time Warner Cable and on channels 18 and 19 around 7pm-11pm they put K-dramas and the variety shows. The only crappy thing is that those aren't the only channels. There's like 3 or 2 more channels that air all those dramas almost everyday. The catch is that you have to buy those programs to watch them. Unfortunately if ur broke like me, then you're stuck with the other free ones lol

How to connect b52 ls 100 to its matching cabinet?

people who know guitar half stacks, I have a b52 ls100 head and ls400 cabinet. On the back of the cabinet, there is a mono/stereo switch and I dont know how to connect the head to the cabnet. i have one speaker cable and i want to know if i can switch the switch to stereo with only one cable(there are two cable holes in the cab) and i dont want to screw up the amp. Also there is a statement saying do not switch to mono with stereo terminals in use. could you explain that. Im guessing i need two cables to use the stereo but i may be wrong. You can have pain going on when your pregnant in your back but it's more of an annoying pain thanks to your body stretching for the baby but the kind of pain your describing is more of something like a back spasm.. which in some way could have to do with the pressure your body is having making room for that baby.. but it is nothing Directly related to the baby.. does this make sense?

Pains in my stomach - can you relate?

All my adult life (now 27) if I eat a large amount of carbohydrates (potato/rice/pasta) then I will have a serious bloated stomach which literately doubles in size. I did a test once before my meal I weighed myself and then afterwards and I had put on 7lbs in weight!! It's unbelievable. I have eating problems too where I do not stop and overeat and cause myself serious discomfort, not all the time but it is a problem. A few years ago a was taken to hospital with serious bloated stomach that wouldn't go down and the pain was awful. I was kept in for 9days, was fasted for 6 days and they did so many tests, they were unable to say what the problem was and just gave me acid tablets. Didn't really do much and just stayed in the medicine draw. But recently in the last few months I have had (what it seemed to be) extreme trapped wind. I have had 3-4 BAD episodes, so bad that I need to call out of hours doctor for advice, the pain was extraordinary. My doctor didn't want to investigate further, just told me to take Rennies!!! Is he mad or what>??? So I did what he said and just now today, been up all night in agony. Done all the home remedies, lying on the floor doing exercises, hot bath, hot drink, hot water bottle, three types of over the counter wind relief. But nothing stopped this pain at the top of my stomach; it’s all hard and hurts to press. I haven't slept and it's now nearly 6am and the pain started about 8pm last night. The out of hours doctor gave me a few Bascopan tablets until I get to see my GP this morning. I really would like more tests, I hate being like this. I know I am not the only one, but the pain is so bad it brings me to tears.

Your packing down the espresso too much, you just loosely tap it in, (not like packed brown sugar...a little less than that) you want it slightly packed but no as to allow no water to drip down (which is what is happening). About 6 months ago I pulled my shoulder really quickly.this caused pain instantly.over the past 6 months the pain has come and gone.but this past month the pain has got really bad! Seeking Cafe Latte alternative - giving up all milk!?

There isn't much at Starbucks that is similar to a latte without using milk or a milk substitute...although you could have a Vivanno smoothie made without the milk if you're looking for something cold, and you can always add shots of espresso to it (espresso is delicious in the banana chocolate smoothie!). Is it just milk and milk substitutes you can't have, or is it dairy altogether? Our white mocha syrup does contain dairy, as well as our caramel sauce that we use to drizzle on top of beverages and our protein powder. If you can't have dairy, I would suggest staying away from these things for sure. As for hot drinks, the Cafe Americano is delicious! You can add syrups to flavor it as well.

More than likely the battery is old and won't hold a charge any longer. It is possible you have an open battery, in which case you can pop off the tops and fill it up with distilled water. If it's not low then it's time for a new battery. If that doesn't fix it, then you do have a problem somewhere that is draining it, but I'm 99% sure that your battery is at fault. It will still give you 12v +/- even if it doesn't hold much power.

I just want to be happy and the people I love to be happy also. I've struggled with suicidal thoughts most of my life and have even attempted it a couple of times. I'm feeling that kind of despair again. Someone PLEASE give me an answer that will help relieve some of this emotional agony!!!

i think it's kinda cool actually. and there are so many people that don't breast feed anyways i don't think that this product would increase that number. i had to stop breastfeeding at 2 months and honestly with my lack of sleep and running on empty for so long it would have been nice to push a button and have a bottle ready. no way i would pay that much for it but i don't think its an awful concept.

No, no cell phones, computers, digital cameras, digital picture frames etc, etc. The only thing you can take is the clothes you show up in, a change of under garments, hygiene products that you will need until you actually get there and a few dollars. Everything else will be provided and you have limited space for storage. He is heading for boot camp, not summer camp.

Substitute for Bicep Workout Burn Set?

okay i've basically just started a new work out routine. I go to the gym so i have access to nearly all normal equipment apart from (annoyingly) cables for bicep preacher curls. Cables are needed for the burn set of the bicep part of my workout routine. Does anyone know a different workout that can be used instead of cable preacher curls for a burn set of about 40 for the work out. I'm already doing barbell curls, pinwheel curls and concentrated seated bicep curls if that help.. cheers for any advice people

Question about miscarriage?

I was at the ob two days ago for my 11 week appointment. Neither the midwife nor a doctor could find the baby's heartbeat in the ultrasound and both said the baby appears to have stopped developing about 2.5 weeks ago. I opted to miscarry naturally as some part of me is still hoping that they were wrong. They explained that it usually takes 2-3 weeks after the baby stops developing for your body to miscarry and luckily I am at home on vacation for the next two weeks. Although I am glad that I don't have to be at work while waiting for this to happen, I also feel that I have too much time to wait and focus on every little twinge I have in my abdomen. I have researched the internet, read blogs et cetera looking for what I should actually be waiting for but it all says the same thing to me "cramping, bleeding..." can someone please tell me if there is any other way to know when it might happen or is it really just that spontaneous, I will just get really bad cramps and start bleeding out of nowhere? I apologize if this seems like a stupid question but it is complete agony just sitting here waiting for this to happen. Thanks in advance.

I have been feeling weird today, started off with a sore stomach then moved onto my legs and arms were total agony and then a pain in my lower back started, the pain is ok when I am lying down but certain ways I move or when I walk, its unbearable. All this started in the morning and its now evening. I took ibuprofen and paracetamol and they haven't worked. Not even taken the edge off, especially with the back pain. It is ok when I pee but a few mina afterwards it kinda hurts in my lower abdomem. My pee looks normal but it stinks a bit. I am bothered with urine infections but never had symptoms develop this quickly. I am due a period anyday now. Thinking of going up to the doc on call.

Hi i have had a kind of lock jaw for way over a year now..but over the past 2 weeks i have had constant popping/cracking and it feels like i have pulled something in my jaw. I went to the dentist because it was incredibly sore when the joint popped back and forward. So he said it sounded like it is inflamed and to take ibuprofen for a week and a half and heat packs and then to come back if it hasn't settled..i am in agony it seems like it is getting worse..it hurts so much to eat now and it hurts to swallow or move my mouth at all, is it possible to damage muscle in one side of your jaw? And about 2 minutes ago it just made a really loud crack, like bones crunching together, it's so disguisting!

They will probably read all the emails and be able to work out what happened. They love you, and they know you love them. You are very upset just now, which makes it difficult to think straight, but they will see the emails clearly, and it wont be difficult for them to see that you said something that could be misunderstood, and then got upset and spent a lot of time trying to sort it out and make it obvious how much you love them. I am quite certain that it will be much clearer to them than you think, your panic is exaggerating the problem in your mind. Take some time to calm down, breathe, go for a walk, have a glass of water, then write another email, calmly, headed "most important" or something like that, and explain what happened, again. I'm sure when they see all the emails explaining and apologising, it will be very obvious to them what happened, so dont worry. They do know that you love them.

go to your device manager. and find teh network card. right click on it and go to properties. there is an option that is checked that says turn off device to save power. unchecked that box it should fix your problem. :-)

Cannot Connect to Internet?

This may seem very weird. I was downloading a movie last night and all of a sudden the internet does not work on any of my computers on the network. I can see the network but when I enter the password it does not work( I am possitive the password is correct because I added a new computer yesterday.) Something happened overnight, and it seems strange that it happened the day after adding this new computer, I checked it for any sort of viruses and there were none, its essentially a brand new computer (just reflashed the harddrive and installed windows 7, no its not a bootleg copy). Any suggestions before I just call Time Warner Cable?
