What are some channels like animal planet?

I don't mean like the shows whale wars and all that stupid crap. Stuff like growing up, big cats, that lion show, mutual of omaha's. I want to know more about animals. Please help :) and if its channels I live around new york/new jersey and have time warner cable thanxx :)
